The Robinson Media Group is excited to announce that plans have been finalized for the launch of a new school, Robinson Media Institute, with classes beginning as early as September, 2009.

Focusing on the core elements of audio, video, and interactive communication, RMI will provide structured and specialized training in A/V and web, from music production to television news directing to putting a final product online.

4/2/09 - Construction has begun on the music production studio in Farmington, Connecticut. Old walls have come down, new walls are going up and a new wood floor is on the way. Renovations to the break room and restrooms in the Farmington building are also in the works.

3/16/09 - RMI has completed its licencing application, now in the hands of the state of Connecticut. The core curriculum is being mapped out, lesson plans are getting written and budgets are being created.
